One of the most eventful periods in the history of the Hedwigepolder is captured in the documentary 'Under the surface'. The film is about the decision-making surrounding the flooding of the Hedwigepolder and was made by director Digna Sinke, known for, among other things, the documentary Tiengemeten. 'Under the Surface' will premiere on Thursday, September 17 during the 'Film by the Sea' film festival. On Saturday, September 19, it will be shown again at the festival during 'the day of Zeeland film'.
