Black Sails tells about a free port in the Caribbean where pirates held sway in the early eighteenth century.
The series has already won two Primetime Emmy Awards. The leading role is played by actor Toby Stephens, who is best known to the general public as the villain in the Bond film Die Another Day. A supporting role in the current season is played by the Dutch actor and former Waku Waku presenter Rob Fruithof.
