Of the 31 prize winners of the Cartoon d'Or partner festivals, six nominations, including A Single Life by Job, Joris and Marieke, have been selected for the best short European film 2015. The Cartoon d'Or is the prestigious European prize for short animated films of Cartoon, the European Association of Animation Film. The Cartoon d'Or will be awarded on September 17, during the Cartoon Forum in Toulouse, the forum for the co-production, financing and distribution of European animation for TV and new media. The cash prize of 10,000 euros associated with the Cartoon d'Or must be spent on a new animation project.
