With the opening of CineMec Utrecht, the city will gain seven modern rooms, equipped with the most modern techniques and conveniences. The theater also serves as a location for the Dutch Film Festival. The striking red building in the Leidsche Rijn district, centrally located on the A2 and next to Utrecht Leidsche Rijn station, offers Utrecht almost 1,900 new cinema seats, spread over seven halls equipped with all modern conveniences and technologies.
