The European Film Academy and EFA Productions have announced the 52 films selected for nomination for this year's European Film Awards. The Netherlands is represented in this list by the films Eisenstein in Guanajuato by Peter Greenaway, Schneider Vs. Bax by Alex Warmerdam and the Dutch co-productions The Lobster by Yorgos Lanthimos, The Summer of Sangaile by Alanté Kavaïté and They Have Escaped by Jukka-Pekka Valkeapää.
