The 41st American Film Festival kicks off on Friday in Deauville. Out of competition, Life, Anton Corbijn's latest film about the friendship between film star James Dean and photographer Dennis Stock, starring Robert Pattinson, will have its French premiere at the festival in Normandy. Pattinson will travel to the festival on Saturday to receive a Hollywood Rising Star Award.
