Adil El Arbi had to work against the clock to have Black ready in time for the Toronto International Film Festival (10 to 20 September), where the film will have its world premiere on September 11 in the Directors to watch: the future of world cinema selection. After Toronto, Black will also be screened at the 42nd Film Fest Ghent (13-24 October), the most prestigious film festival in Flanders.
