The 'Alkmaar European Film Festival' will take place in the Filmhuis on the weekend of September 18 to 20. With ten arthouse films from as many European countries, the audience is given an insight into the versatile European film world. The program includes previews of the films Youth, 45 Years and Sworn Virgin and classics such as M by Fritz Lang. The festival is part of the national European Film Festival, which is organized in collaboration with the European Commission.
