Gust Van den Berghe's Lucifer and Kristof Hoornaert's short film Empire have both been invited to the 59th BFI London Film Festival, which will take place from October 7 to 18. Also four co-productions with Flanders – Couple in a Hole, Les cowboys, Schneider vs. Bax and Le tout nouveau testament – are on the program that will be announced today. Lucifer is Gust Van den Berghe's third feature film and also the final piece of his triptych, which also includes And Where the Star Stood Still and Blue Bird. This time the director presents an adaptation of the play of the same name by Joost Van den Vondel.
