Renko Koppe will graduate from the NFTVM this summer with Le Reste. The film explores the role of media, imaging and interpretation in our lives from the perspective of fashion model Renée, inspired by the work of philosophers Jean Baudrillard and Michel Foucault. “I tried to put as much as possible of what I learned during my studies into my film. The film is freely based on what Baudrillard described as the four phases of the image, in which the image reflects, distorts or replaces reality.”
