European Film Promotion (EFP) supports European filmmakers in promoting films in Asia during the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). Fourteen European filmmakers travel to Busan to present their films, which mainly deal with the impact of ethnic wars, migration and social media on life in Europe. This year the Korean festival takes place from October 1 to October 10. The EFP program, Opening Doors, receives support from Creative Europe/MEDIA and EFP member organizations.
