Jasmijn Schrofer graduated with the dance documentary Tarikat, a hypnotic film that takes the viewer into the experience of a Sufi ritual. The film was already very popular during the Keep an Eye Film Academy Festival, winning both the VPRO Documentary Prize and the KNF Prize for Best Film Academy Production. “Filmmaking is what I do, not who I am.”
