The unsuspecting Utrecht cinemagoer who wants to catch a film at Wolff Camera on the Oudegracht will soon be in the hipster clothing store Urban Outfitters. The famous cinema in the heart of Utrecht has closed its doors to the public since the end of March, who now have to seek refuge elsewhere. Utrecht film lovers don't have to mourn for long. Next month, Pathé division CineMec will open a mega complex near Utrecht Leidsche Rijn, directly on the A2 highway. Those who want to go to the films closer to the center will soon also be able to go to the Jaarbeurs. The Belgian cinema group Kinepolis will build a center there with fourteen screens, good for 3,300 seats.
