With thirteen nominations in fourteen categories, 'Waste Land' by director Pieter Van Hees is the absolute top favorite for the Flemish Film Awards, the so-called Ensors. The film awards will be presented on September 19 in Ostend. The Ensors are the apotheosis of the Ostend Film Festival, which runs from August 11 to 19. The opening film of the FFO is "Café Derby", the debut of Lenny Van Wesemael.
