The already highly praised American film The Diary of a Teenage Girl, in which 15-year-old Minnie discovers her femininity, is causing quite a stir. Various inspection committees do not consider the film suitable for children, even though it is about an important aspect in the lives of girls. In The Diary of a Teenage Girl, Minnie, growing up in the seventies, becomes obsessed with the desire to lose her virginity to her mother's 35-year-old boyfriend. Despite being presented very honestly, it turned out to be too controversial for various inspection committees.
