Fleur Pellerin, the French Minister of Culture, has decided to award Matthias Schoenaerts with the Order of Arts and Letters, a tribute to people who have made themselves noticed in the artistic field. Schoenaerts receives the title of Chevalier. The award is granted by the French Minister of Culture to persons who have made themselves known for their creation in the artistic or literary domain or for their contribution to the image of the arts and letters in France and the world.
