Film student Matthijs Meulblok (Utrecht University) is working on a documentary about the magic and future of French chanson. For the approximately one-hour film, he spoke to musicians and lovers of French song in Paris. He discovered that the genre has started to move after decades of status quo, under the influence of other cultures. Meulblok will graduate next year in film and television science. He also has several smaller films to his name with Hoedje van Papier Producties.
