Flemish animation pioneer Raoul Servais has received the Crystal Pegasus at the Polish Animator, the Poznan International Animation Film Festival. The prize recognizes the complete oeuvre of Servais, nine of whose short films were shown in a special retrospective. His feature film Taxandria was also shown there. Raoul Servais is internationally regarded as one of the pioneers of Belgian animation film and was invited as a guest of honor at Animator, the largest Polish film festival dedicated to animation film. The filmmaker was honored for his entire career and received the Crystal Pegasus for this.
