Kinepolis may build the multiplex halls at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The building permit was previously issued by the municipality, but now the Council of State also agrees. The new cinema will immediately become one of the largest in the Netherlands. With fourteen halls and 3,300 seats, it is expected that a visitor number of more than one million visitors (1.25 to be precise) can be achieved. Last year, Wolff Bioscopen was taken over by the Kinepolis group, which acquired nine existing cinemas and two new construction projects.
