D'Ardennen, the feature debut of Robin Pront with Kevin Janssens, Jeroen Perceval and Veerle Baetens in the most important roles, opens the 42nd edition of Film Fest Ghent (13-24 October). D'Ardennen starts with a brutal homejacking that goes hopelessly wrong. Dave (Jeroen Perceval), one of the two robbers, is forced to leave his brother Kenneth (Kevin Janssens) behind. Four years later, Kenneth is released and a lot has changed.
