Robert Downey Jr. and film studio Warner Bros. have been working on a live-action film about Pinocchio for years. After the departure of director Tim Burton and a rejection of Ben Stiller, things now seem to be going well again for the wooden doll that wants to become a boy. Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master) has been asked to write the screenplay and possibly direct it.
