Commercial director Willem Gerritsen will make his cinema debut next year with Renesse, a comedy. Gerritsen is currently working on the screenplay with his brother Dirk and Gerben Hetebrij (GTST). He describes Renesse as 'a comedy in which good taste is defied - think of films like American Pie'. The shooting will start in mid-August on the Dutch coast, where a quarter of Dutch young people spend their holidays every year. Producer Tom de Mol (Sint, De Masters) expects to discover part of the cast at an open casting day on Sunday, July 5.
