The seminars during the opening day of CineEurope 2015 were dominated by one theme: the threat of losing young people as an important visitor group. This was clearly noticeable during the Innovations in Cinema Marketing seminar, the seminar entitled Engaging the Audience and during the annual exhibitors roundtable. All panel members gave the signal that the cinema industry must either adapt to the (mobile) wishes and usage motives of the younger generation or experience the consequences.
