The shooting of the film 'Tintin, the Sun Temple' could start at the end of 2016. The film would then be released in theaters in 2017 or early 2018. This was stated by actor Jamie Bell, who played the cartoon character in the first film, to Premiere magazine. The director of this second film about the Belgian adventurer is New Zealander Peter Jackson. He will use the same film technique as in the first film to bring Hergé's brainchild to life.
