Publisher De Bezige Bij has sold the rights for the book adaptation of the novel Dubbelspel by the Curaçaoan writer Frank Martinus Arion. The novel will be adapted into a film by American director Ernest Dickerson, known for Do The Right Thing, Malcolm X, Juice, The Wire and the series The Walking Dead. Gregory Elias, organizer of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival and the Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam, will produce the film together with Lisa Cortés.
