Various factions in the Utrecht city council are curious about what will happen to the City cinema building on Voorstraat in Utrecht. Steven de Vries (GroenLinks), Aline Knip (D66), Ruben Post (PvdA) and Vincent Wijlhuizen (SP) have asked written questions to the Municipal Executive about the future of the theater. The cinema shows quite a bit of deferred maintenance. "Fortunately, esteemed filmmaker and cinema operator Jos Stelling recently announced his plans for the redevelopment of the City cinema," the groups say.
