The Zappbios animation Munya in me (VPRO/Viking Film) and Human Rights – How Ky became Niels (IKON) won a Rockie Award at the international BANFF World Media Festival in Canada on Monday evening. The festival is considered one of the most important television programming events in the world. Other Dutch nominations were the Telefilm Jongens (NTR/Pupkin) about two teenagers in love, the series Ramses (AVROTROS/De Familie) about the early years of Ramses Shaffy and the documentary In the queue for Anne Frank (NOS/Mediabrothers). The youth program The Sand Artist and the War (RKK-Jewish Broadcasting/Mediabrothers) was also nominated.
