In the week prior to the Tour de France, a one-off film festival is organized in Utrecht. The festival program consists of almost forty documentaries, feature films, animated films and short films. Recent productions can be seen such as Rising from the Ashes (2012) about the Rwandan cycling team that qualified for the Olympic Games in 2012, and Nieuwe Helden (2014), about the Dutch team Argos-Shimano that broke through in 2013 with sprinter Marcel Kittel .
