The European Commission's plans to create a digital market continue to concern people. The two commissioners involved in the policy, Günther Oettinger and Andrus Ansip, both recently gave different signals about the course to be followed. While Oettinger seems to be willing to moderate the tone, Commissioner Ansip does not seem to want to deviate from the chosen path, Screen Daily notes. Ansip's goal is not to change the policy regarding windows - “When we talk about copyright reform, we do not want to change the release window system” - but to create a market in which geo-blocking is a thing of the past.
