Rutger Hauer will be seen in the major American sci-fi film Black Angel. Director Roger Christian was the set decorator of the first Star Wars film A New Hope from 1977 and as such was responsible for 'inventing' the world-famous lightsabers in the film. Christian won an Oscar for his work on A New Hope. Black Angel was a short prelude to the second Star Wars film The Empire Strikes Back in 1980.
