Nearly eighty film directors and producers working in France, including the Belgian brothers Dardenne and Lucas Belvaux, have denounced Moroccan "censorship" of the latest film by French-Moroccan filmmaker Nabil Ayouch. 'Much Loved', recently shown in Cannes, is not allowed to be shown in cinemas in Morocco. Other signatories to the complaint include Arnaud Desplechin, Laurent Cantet, Pascale Ferran, Costa-Gavras, Michel Hazanavicius, Riad Sattouf and Chadian Mahamat-Saleh Haroun. Their petition supports the director and lead actress Loubna Abidar.
