A new British study finds that there are indeed benefits to watching films in 3D. According to research by neuroscientist Patrick Fagan (Goldsmiths University) and Professor Brendan Walker (Thrill Laboratory), 23 percent of participants showed an increase in their cognitive ability after watching a film in 3D. Their reaction speed increased by 11 percent and they reported a 'brain boost' up to 20 minutes after watching the film. Studies have previously been published that believe that watching a film in 3D offers no added value to the experience of film viewers.
