The feature film Much Loved is not allowed to be shown in Moroccan cinemas. The film by Moroccan-French filmmaker Nabil Ayouch is about prostitution in the North African country. There has been fierce discussion about the film in Morocco in recent weeks. The amount of nudity and explicit language in particular are controversial. The Justice and Development Party (PJD) announced that the film should not be released. According to the official statement, the film is a gross insult to the norms and values of the country.
