A filmmaker who advocates smaller budgets - it is a lonely voice in the Dutch cultural sector. Debutant Sam de Jong found freedom in working with modest budgets and amateur actors. Sam de Jong: 'I actually never dare to say it. I don't know if that makes me right-wing, because I'm not - or maybe it does." His film Prins is a playful, colorful film about puppy love, beautiful shoes and drug trafficking. The film will have its preview in De Filmhallen next Sunday.
