Actor Matthew McConaughey's new film, The Sea of Trees, was received with boos at the Cannes festival on Friday evening. After press screenings, many film press at the festival let us know with cheers or booing whether they like a new film. This edition was the first time that a title shown to the press received this scorn. The Sea of Trees by director Gus van Sant tells about a man (McConaughey) who goes to Japan to commit suicide in the Aokigahara forest near Mount Fuji.
