American actor Richard Dysart has died at the age of 86. This is reported by Fox News. Dysart played the role of Leland McKenzie on LA Law in more than 170 episodes. He won an Emmy Award for this in 1992. Dysart made his film debut in 1963 in Love with the Proper Stranger. He subsequently appeared in more than dozens of cinema and television films. He had been ill for a long time and died Sunday at home in Santa Monica, said Jeannine Jacobi, the daughter of his third wife Kathryn, whom he married in 1987.
