During the Berlin International Film Festival, the treaty for the co-production of films by the governments of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany was signed. The Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science Dr. Jet Bussemaker, the State Minister of both the Federal Chancellor and the Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien Prof. Monika Grütters und de Leiter der Kultur und Kommunicationsabteilung des Auswärtigen Amtes Dr. Andreas Görgen signed the treaty in the presence of the press and sector.
