The Dutch Film Fund, VPRO, NTR, the Media Fund and CoBO announce the annual artistic feature film project, entitled DE OVERSTEEK, for novice directors with their first feature film. Two artistic feature films for cinema and television can be supported. Recent editions have produced Nena, Gluckauf, Infiltrant, Wolf, The Deflowering of Eva van End, A Long Story, Hemel, Lotus, 170 Hz and Nothing Personal. The Film Fund is looking for projects that tell a contemporary, urgent story in a powerful visual language, with international (festival) potential. The (director's) vision of the filmmakers weighs heavily in the assessment.
