The production of the low-budget feature film Waterboys is supported by the Dutch Film Fund. The film Waterboys (director and screenplay: Robert Jan Westdijk) will receive a realization contribution of € 200,000. Crime novelist Victor and his 20-year-old cello-playing son Zack have both just become single. During a trip to Scotland, they finally really get to know themselves and each other. A funny and moving film about fathers who don't want to mature and sons who have to take life easier.
