The Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR) starts today. The program includes an important number of Flemish (co)productions. For example, Isabelle Tollenaeres Battles will have its world premiere, as will Thierry Knauff's Vita Brevis - a co-production with Flanders. The short films Black, In Waking Hours and Sequenza are also part of the program, as is the documentary Kosmos, which was recently awarded a VAF Wildcard. Furthermore, The Visitor, The Second of August and Hotel Red Shoes, three student films, will be shown within the Signals: 24/7 section. Finally, Tussen 10 en 12, supported by Screen Flanders, can be seen within Limelight.
