The short film Baghdad Messi by Flemish-Kurdish director Sahim Omar Kalifa won two new awards last weekend in Bangladesh and Iraq. This now brings the count to 44 prizes and 4 special mentions. We will also know in mid-January whether the short film will be one of the nominated films for the Oscars.
