Waste Land by Pieter Van Hees has been selected for Official Competition at the European Film Festival in Les Arcs (13-20 December). Violet by Bas Devos and the short film The Hunger by Benoit De Clerck will also be shown in the Official programme. In addition, the projects Coureur by Kenneth Mercken and Galloping Mind by Wim Vandekeybus will be shown in the professional section of the festival. For the first time, three new Flemish feature film productions will be presented there by their respective makers to around 200 distributors and cinema operators from France. It concerns Waste Land, together with Black and Brabançonne.
