Bas van der Ree assigned as Netherlands Film Commissioner From July 1 2014 Bas van der Ree (1957) will head the Netherlands Film Commission, a new division of the Netherlands Film Fund. The simultaneous launch marked an integrated approach to the positioning of The Netherlands as a viable international production partner.
